Adrian is a young whippety lurcher boy of around 2 years old who stands 21 inches floor to shoulder.
He is in foster with three other dogs and gets on well with all of them.
Being a youngster he is still playful and active and would love another dog to play with him.
He walks nicely on the lead but does pull a little at times.
Adrian travels well in the car.
Having come in as a stray from the pound, Adrian is slowly gaining in confidence in foster but is still a little wary of things like sudden loud noises and traffic. He will need time to build confidence in his forever home.
He settles well at night and does not show any signs of separation anxiety.
Currently he has been left for around an hour and a half at a time (with other calm dogs for company) with no issues.
We would not home Adrian with a cat.
He shows little interest in squirrels, ducks or swans so doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive.
He is partially toilet trained but has not got the hang of how to ask to go out yet. This won’t take long to sort though.
He adores humans, especially women.
There are no children in his foster home but he has met children out and about and seems unconcerned by them.
His foster carer says he has a really lovely friendly nature. He is very sweet, loves cuddles and tries to give kisses. ‘He is one of the loveliest dogs I have ever come across in that he has such a sweet fun nature’.
Adrian’s write up will be updated as we get further information from his foster carer.
Adrian is in foster near Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales.
