Zeb is a male, slightly fluffy, brindle lurcher of around 12 months old.
He is a whippety lurcher who stands approximately 20 inches floor to shoulder
Zeb is a very loving boy who adores people and likes nothing better than to snuggle up with you on the sofa or lie with you while you work.
He can be a little excitable at first but once he has settled down he walks nicely on the lead and greets other dogs appropriately.
He is in foster with other dogs and gets on with them well.
Zeb adores children but can get a little over excited and may lick, mouth or jump up. He would be too rough for very small children but we are confident that he could be homed with dog savvy children over 6.
Having had a rough start in life and ending up in the pound at a young age, Zeb now suffers from separation anxiety and will need adopters who are around most of the time and can work with him to get him gradually used to being left. Currently he is only left for a few minutes at a time.
Zeb will pace up and down when he needs to go out to the toilet so an adopter needs to be aware of this.
He has not been tested with cats. He has shown some interest in wildlife but has so far been easily distracted.
He is very quick to learn and his foster carer has already taught him sit, down, leave, come, off and close (to get him to sit by your side after recall).
He has not been tested off lead but his recall is looking good so far on a long line.
He would benefit from a home that would give him lots of mental as well as physical exercise.
