Sonny is a beautiful big saluki x greyhound lad who is around 3 years old.
He came to us after being rehomed from a regional homing centre and he has sadly had a number of homes over the last couple of years. He now needs to find his forever home!
He stands at 27 inches to the shoulder.
Sonny is a very happy and bouncy boy who loves to play. He loves men and especially loves to cuddle up to the men in the foster home!
He loves having his belly tickled.
Sonny loves his doggy foster brother – he can be a little rough in playing at first but is quickly learning good manners and likes the company very much.
He is housetrained and will ask to go out.
He is slowly getting used to being left and can be left a couple of hours after exercise – he should settle in time with another dog for company or ideally he would like someone around for most of the day.
Sonny will need fences at 6ft as he has jumped a few before coming to our rescue.
Sonny could live with older dog savvy children or teenagers.
He is happy meeting both people and dogs out and about. He can sometimes bark at other dogs on the lead but this is because he is keen to say hello rather than nervous.
He does have some prey drive and would not be safe around small furries or cats.
Recall will be ongoing as he has not been offlead yet.
