  • Lacey is a stunning saluki x girl who is 8 months old. She is around 22-24 inches to the shoulder.
  • She is laid back and gentle for a 8 month old pup but is still very puppyish and will cry and chew things sometimes.
  • Lacey is a well balanced and gentle girl who has a lovely nature and is keen to learn.
  • She gets on well with all the dogs she has met. She can be a little nervous at first meeting new dogs but does not show aggression just a little wary until she feels confident around them. She has been out with a large number of other sighthounds and walked beautifully with them.
  • She loves to play rough and tumble with the dogs in the home and will play typical sighthound games.
  • Lacey is very good in general but will jump with excitement. She does not mouth or nip.
  • Lacey can show a little bit of separation anxiety but usually settles after a while. She does like company of other dogs. She is OK to be left for around 4 hours.
  • She loves going out in the car and is a good traveller.
  • She can be a little bit cautious of meeting new people but soon comes around once she has got to know them a little.
  • Lacey knows several commands including sit, down and leave. Her recall is coming on but a work in progress.
  • Her housetraining is ongoing and she may have the odd accident when left or when excited.
  • Lacey could be homed with children over around 8 – she is good with children but can be bouncy.
  • She would be able to live in a home with a fence of around 5ft.
  • She walks well on a lead and only pulls occasionally.
  • Lacey would benefit from more training and someone around to put the time into her development.
  • Lacey is in foster in Chepstow, South Wales.
