Lacey is a stunning saluki x girl who is 8 months old. She is around 22-24 inches to the shoulder.
She is laid back and gentle for a 8 month old pup but is still very puppyish and will cry and chew things sometimes.
Lacey is a well balanced and gentle girl who has a lovely nature and is keen to learn.
She gets on well with all the dogs she has met. She can be a little nervous at first meeting new dogs but does not show aggression just a little wary until she feels confident around them. She has been out with a large number of other sighthounds and walked beautifully with them.
She loves to play rough and tumble with the dogs in the home and will play typical sighthound games.
Lacey is very good in general but will jump with excitement. She does not mouth or nip.
Lacey can show a little bit of separation anxiety but usually settles after a while. She does like company of other dogs. She is OK to be left for around 4 hours.
She loves going out in the car and is a good traveller.
She can be a little bit cautious of meeting new people but soon comes around once she has got to know them a little.
Lacey knows several commands including sit, down and leave. Her recall is coming on but a work in progress.
Her housetraining is ongoing and she may have the odd accident when left or when excited.
Lacey could be homed with children over around 8 – she is good with children but can be bouncy.
She would be able to live in a home with a fence of around 5ft.
She walks well on a lead and only pulls occasionally.
Lacey would benefit from more training and someone around to put the time into her development.
